Hi Amanda, This is so timely for me as I approach a huge change in my yoga practice starting in 2 weeks. Y.T.T. 200 hour class. I have been living, breathing, and feeling the possibility of this moment daily for 6 months now and it is about to come true. Much nervousness, some fear, a little trepidation as I get closer. I will no doubt "fall" more than once along the way and will call upon the divine within and to pull myself back up. I will need the help of others whether fellow students or my mentors who have guided me along the way to this point in my practice. They will be there for me and I will be there for them if they need help. Thank you and much gratitude for posting this and taking the time to read this from a guy you have never met:)

Thank you, Miri! I think that quote you're talking about - there are many on the topic - is dead on. Don't you? How many people "kill" happy relationships because they're trying to look ahead 10 steps?? And their vision of 10 steps ahead is not the same as the other's? I think we'd all be happier beings if we tried to enjoy the current version of our lives, rather than trying to think ahead to where our lives should go. I daren't post that haggard cliche about journey/ destination, but.... ;-) (And ps, I still struggle with it, too. I think everyone does, to some degree/ in some situations!)
